Thanks Jen. :-[Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. Ok... ;)We meet locally in Tyler, or in the middle between the members so that way everyone can come. We will be having monthly meetings starting this month. You don't have to live in E.Texas to join, anyone can! We will have a questionnaire for you to fill out if you do decide to join. It is just so that way we know a little about you and your fuzzes. At this point, we have 3 members in our group . We are always looking for new members and friends. I will keep everyone updated on what goes on in the meeting by posting here. I will also post when and where each meeting will be held. If there is anything I left out, please contact me, and I will be happy to answer all of you questions. If you would like to join just post in this thread with you name location, and how many fuzzes you have, and I will contact you with the questionnaire. ;D Thank you guys!!

Alright, where were you? We had two members show up, me included. We discussed the care and aliments of ferrets, Also we discussed the book "Ferrets for Dummies". It was a good time, we wished more people would have shown up, but over all it was a good time. Next months meeting will be Dec. 7th. I will post more info when I have it available!

Sorry, girlie, that's just too far for me. Maybe it'll be different once I get my own car.. I really would like to attend a "ferret frolic" or something similar. Maybe we can plan something once it warms up.. like at a lake or park.. and bring the fuzzies.. if anyone is interested. Maybe y'all could post in craigslist or your local paper/pet stores/library/community boards/vets once you figure out where your next meeting will be.. Good luck growing your group.. I hope our forum continues to grow as well. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Or if you want to start anything virtual, like an e-newsletter or weekly chat, I'd be interested in helping out Thanks for the meeting recap though. Nice to know what went on. I used to miss all the DFWMAS (marine aquarium society) monthly meetings because I couldn't make the drive..
